What to expect

Everything you need to know before your first visit — from paperwork to what happens on the call.

The intake process

  1. 1. Book your free consultation

A brief 15-minute video call to share what's bringing you in and confirm this practice can meet your needs.

  2. 2. Complete secure intake forms

After booking your evaluation, you'll receive a link to complete history questionnaires, consent forms, and insurance/payment information online, at your own pace.

  3. 3. Attend your initial evaluation

A 60-minute video visit where we review your history in depth and start building a treatment plan together.

  4. 4. Begin ongoing care

Follow-up visits are scheduled based on your treatment plan — typically every 2–8 weeks depending on where you are in treatment.

Technology requirements

Visits are held on a secure, encrypted telehealth platform. You'll need:

  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
  • A stable internet connection
  • A private, quiet space for your appointment
  • A government-issued photo ID for identity verification at your first visit

No app download is required — you'll join through a secure link sent to your email.

Where I can see patients

Due to state licensing laws, I can only provide care to patients who are physically located in a state where I'm licensed at the time of the visit:

Maryland Virginia

Planning to travel? Let me know in advance — we may need to reschedule visits that fall outside these states.
